The Forum on Religion & Ecology
The FORE at Yale University, is a multi-religious project, exploring religious worldviews, texts, ethics, and practices in order to understand the complexity of current environmental concerns. It seeks to create a new academic field that has implications for environmental policy. In collaboration with the ecological sciences, the Forum helps identify the ethical dimensions by which the religions of the world can respond to the growing environmental crisis, and to ground environmental transformation in an evolutionary perspective - our profound relatedness to and dependence on the larger Earth community.
